Colliforti olive oil

Mount Amiata [1,733 meters], silent guardian of our soils, offers calcareous-marly volcanic soils, with a balanced presence of sand and silt.

The soil, in combination with the temperature ranges of the mountain, combined with the action of the mild winds of the Tuscan Archipelago lay the foundations for fine wine and olive production.

Our Sentinels

The almost total absence of industry, as well as large population centers in the vicinity is also another favorable element for our production, as well as for our bees, ecological sentinels of the health of the territory.

Honey

Wildflower honey with a refined taste profile not subjected to heat treatments to keep the organoleptic characteristics intact. It expresses pungent caramel and fruity notes on the nose, together with floral hints belonging to the forage area. With a creamy and velvety consistency, it finds a versatile gastronomic use starting from breakfast, cheese tasting, up to the sweetening of herbal teas and coffee.

The wine

There are many DOC/DOCG denominations in the area, including the famous Brunello di Montalcino, but also our Montecucco Rosso DOC and Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG, grown on the other side of the Orcia river that we offer you with all our pride.

Tuscan IGP Olive Oil

The great protagonist, our Tuscan IGP oil.

Produced exclusively with olives from our trees, and mainly of the Olivastra Seggianese, Leccino, Moraiolo and Correggiolo varieties. Pleasantly fruity, it has a balanced persistence of soft aromatic notes, followed by a slightly spicy aftertaste of artichoke, almond and fresh olive leaves.

Our trees-Our Champion

Here on the right, Millennia. Definitely our oldest tree. It is an Olivastra Seggianese that has been living for an incalculable time on the slopes of Mount Amiata, at 500 meters above sea level and has a diameter of about 2 meters.

Millennian oldest olive tree

Having dispelled the myth that an elderly tree is close to retirement, in 2023 it produced almost 1 quintal of olives, of excellent quality.
